As I sat in front of the mirror with colours draped over me, I could see features of my face change. It’s amazing how you can look like death in one colour, to vibrant and glowing in another. She’s really personable, immediately put me at ease and spent a lot of effort getting to understand my lifestyle and what I like in terms of style. Then we did my colours (season) and body shape, and the implications of shape got what looks good and not so good on me. That was a revelation! It’s already changed the colours and clothes I buy, and how I’ve started to see and wear clothes. Elise helped me to go through my entire wardrobe, including coats, hats and shoes and we had a proper clear out, which was long overdue and it means that now I only have things in my wardrobe that I like and that suit me. In doing that she was very aware and responsive to things that I wanted to keep and what I was happy to let go. We looked at how I can put outfits together more easily (initially from my existing wardrobe) and style them to have more impact. Elise then did a list of gaps in my wardrobe - things I needed. This week we went shopping for 3 hours - brilliant. Elise had done loads of research working off the list of things she thought I needed. Amazing. I came home from our trip with a great selection of clothes that I really like and that I can see will help me bring outfits together that look great and more interesting. I bought a few things that I would never try on normally but which I like and can see look great - and that goes back in part to the body shape discussion in session 1. I had such a wonderful experience getting my color and shape analysis done with Elise along with a friend. She was so welcoming and personable, and we had a fun and informative afternoon in her beautiful home. She gave us so much useful information and analysis, in such a digestible way, and we both came away with a renewed sense of direction about our wardrobes and style. Would highly recommend, especially to anyone struggling to find their "look" again after having kids.
